Starting August 1, 2020, Louisiana Licensed Physicians in good standing can recommend medical cannabis for any condition or ailment.
Physicians, in good standing, need to provide their CDS license number to the Louisiana Department of Pharmacy. There is no fee, no background check, no fingerprinting, and no need to contact the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.
